Summit meeting
It is thanks to the multipercussionist Martin Grubinger that the percussion instrument has achieved a position as one of the most fascinating instruments in concert life. With his Percussive Planet Ensemble, he not only inspires friends of so-called »classical music« with enthusiasm for the instrument. He also contributed significantly to the expansion of the percussion repertoire, and many works were composed especially for it. One of the ensemble's concerns is to present the most diverse facets of percussive music-making - and so this concert also offers a rich spectrum of musical expression.
