Presented by Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft

»Alps & Glowing«

Herbert Pixner and Thomas Gansch, both born in 1975, both socialized in the haze of alpine folk music and both very successfully active in their respective formations for decades, drawing from this tradition. Whether »Herbert Pixner Project« or »Mnozil Brass,« these two gentlemen stand for musical cosmopolitanism and the joy of experimentation like hardly anyone else in our latitudes. For their joint musical adventure, they team up with greats of the local music scene, from Manu Delago and Lukas Kranzelbinder to the radio.string.quartet, to create something unique together.

This concert will also take place on May 8, 2023.
