Festive moments are guaranteed when Vasily Petrenko, one of the most sought-after conductors of his generation, joins forces with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra and cellist Truls Mørk to perform works by Shostakovich, Dvořák and Prokofiev– particularly, to mark Prokofiev’s 125th birthday, the First Suite from his popular ballet, »Romeo und Julia« op. 64a, one of the works which made him famous.
