Performing: Words and Music. With "Words and Music" Beckett created a unique radio play in 1961, in which he lets the dramatic characters "words" and "music" negotiate which of the two deserves precedence. Bibiana Beglau, Götz Otto and the Jewish Chamber Orchestra Munich explore this explosive question, which for the American composer Morton Feldman meant one thing above all: "It was great fun to do something for Beckett. An opportunity to experience the arts in their very own medium of expression in discourse with each other.
