Off to the Roaring Twenties with Zelda and F. Scott Fitzgerald! Birgit Minichmayr and Martin Wuttke bring an era back to life in their reading – including stage-ready scenes of a marriage. Samuel Beckett and Morton Feldman made the subject of their radio play »Words and Music« whether word or sound should take precedence: Bibiana Beglau and Götz Otto explore this burning question with the Jewish Chamber Orchestra Munich. Caroline Peters and percussionist Peter Rosmanith bring Carson McCullers' touching story about the eccentric Madame Zilensky to life. Marie-Luise Stockinger and Michael Maertens whisk us away to dreamy summer nights with Shakespeare and Mendelssohn, while Matthias Brandt and Jens Thomas dive into the realm between reality and dream with a word-music collage to E. T. A. Hoffmann's »The Mines at Falun« and songs by Neil Young.
