Rejoice, rejoice!

Performances of Bach's Christmas Oratorio are one of the beautiful rituals of December. This year, the Vienna Symphony Orchestra will perform the best-known parts, cantatas I to III and VI. Early music expert Václav Luks, renowned for his captivating interpretations, will be at the conductor's desk. The harpsichordist, horn player and conductor made his Vienna debut with his own Collegium 1704 at Resonanzen 2014 and has been closely associated with the Wiener Konzerthaus ever since. The excellent soloist ensemble consists of Anna Lucia Richter, Sebastian Kohlhepp and Krešimir Stražanac.
