Agnes Palmisano turns 50! Whether at the Hengl-Haselbrunner, Herrgott aus Sta or the Liebhartstaler Bockkeller - the Ottakring native yodels, drones and chirps at the hotbeds of Viennese song as well as in established concert halls. Less than a week after her 50th birthday (on November 27), she celebrates together with long-time and younger colleagues and companions in the Mozart-Saal and presents her »favorite coloratura yodels and yodels« from three centuries. You can be curious: Agnes Palmisano recently proved once again that she is not just a representative of the light muse with her program »Gegenwelten«, which confronted Schönberg's »Brettl-Lieder« with Viennese song standards to mark the 150th birthdays of Arnold Schönberg and Ludwig Gruber. On the occasion of their milestone birthdays, one can of course be sure of this: A convivial Viennese celebration is in the (concert) house.
