Zugunsten der Opfer des Tsunamis in Japan – 5 Jahre danach
Der weltweit für seine Phantasie und Sensibilität gefeierte und in London ansässige japanische Komponist und Pianist Motoki Hirai gibt sein lang erwartetes Debüt im Schubert-Saal. Er widmet den Konzertabend der Hilfe für Japans Tsunami- und Erdbebenopfer der Katastrophe 2011.
Das Konzert findet im Rahmen seiner World Tour 2016 statt.
In Aid of the Japan Tsunami – 5 years on
Acclaimed worldwide for his imagination and sensitivity, London-based Japanese composer-pianist Motoki Hirai makes his much–awaited Vienna debut in Schubert Saal in Konzerthaus in aid of the Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, which marks its five-year anniversary. This concert will be held as part of his World Tour 2016, including the recitals in prestigious venues, such as the Barbican Centre (London), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam), and Ginza Oji Hall (Tokyo). As a composer, Motoki’s works have been performed in places including the Carnegie Hall (NY), Expo Milano 2015 (Milan), Smetana Hall (Prague), Wigmore Hall (London) and Tokyo Opera City. He has broadcasted internationally on radio and television (Classic FM, BBC and NHK).
