And how do you celebrate New Year's Eve?

The New Year's Eve concerts at the Wiener Konzerthaus promise something extraordinary. The choice is yours: Beethoven's Ninth with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra? Or a musical journey to the Strauss family with the Strauss Festival Orchestra Vienna? Or would you like to experience a tribute to Franz Schubert with the Musicbanda Franui and the Strottern? Julia Fischer · Yulianna Avdeeva: Virtuoso chamber music

Julia Fischer has been at the forefront of the international violin elite for 20 years and has been a regular guest at the Wiener Konzerthaus for just as long. The two virtuosos will change this with a joint sonata recital whose program ranges from Beethoven's first violin sonata to the famous highly romantic sonata by César Franck.
