Musicbanda Franui · maschek.

100 years after the publication of the first edition of Arthur Schnitzler's famous novella »Fräulein Else«, the cabaret duo Maschek and the music band Franui, known for their original synchronisations, present their remake of Paul Czinner's literary adaptation of the same name from the silent film era. The »composer-arrangers« of Franui, Andreas Schett and Markus Kraler, based their music for the film on works by Mozart, Schubert, Schumann, Satie and Bartók.

Klavierabend Krystian Zimerman

Krystian Zimerman is one of the world's great pianists. He recorded Beethoven's piano concertos with Sir Simon Rattle and the London Symphony Orchestra; they remain a reference recording to this day. His Viennese audience can look forward to a colorful tour through the romantic salons – with Nocturnes and the B minor Sonata by Frédéric Chopin –, through Debussy's impressionistic »Estampes« and Szymanowski's »Variations on a Polish Folk Theme« op. 10.
