30 años después
Grandmaster Jordi Savall, who celebrated his 80th birthday on 1st August this year, has long held the status of patron saint of »Resonanzen«. On 6th March 1993, the then already world-famous Catalan made his debut with his ensembles Hespèrion XXI and the Capella Reial de Catalunya as part of the 1st Festival edition in the Great Hall of the Vienna Konzerthaus. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary, Jordi Savall now returns to the Great Hall with Hespèrion XXI and La Capella Reial de Catalunya. They are joined by Le Concert des Nations, and in their luggage they have »Master Songs in Changing Styles« by Cristobal de Morales and Claudio Monteverdi.
