Incredible moments

Lisa Batiashvili, Gautier Capuçon and Jean-Yves Thibaudet lure audiences into the Great Hall with stellar chamber music moments. Usually, the three are to be found there in the context of solo concerts. However, violinist Lisa Batiashvili is convinced that chamber music experiences in particular are of great importance for performers. In an interview, she emphasized, »When you play chamber music, it's important to stay true to yourself, to follow your musical intuition and not lose that sense, not lose your freedom.« Especially in the trio with Gautier Capuçon and Jean-Yves Thibaudet, this creates »incredibly great musical moments.«

These very moments were most recently celebrated internationally during their 2018 chamber music tour - »three solo stars coming together in an ego-free harmony - a supergroup to enjoy« was written, for example, on the occasion of a concert evening at London's Barbican Centre. At the Vienna Konzerthaus, they will interpret piano trios by Joseph Haydn, Anton Arensky and Johannes Brahms.
