»Radiant height and power« were attested to Juan Diego Flórez when he recently sang Faust in Gounod's work of the same name for the first time at the Vienna State Opera. It is exciting to experience how Juan Diego Flórez, the great exceptional tenor who lives in Vienna, has developed over the years and has been able to inspire at every stage: At the beginning with stupendous fluency and with breathtaking heights in the Rossini fach, in convincing excursions as a sensitive stylistically confident Mozart tenor, likewise with music of his Latin American homeland, finally as a radiant bel canto hero up to the current expansion in the direction of French Romanticism and Verdi. All these facets could be presented in celebrated concerts by the singer, who also supports children and young people of his homeland with his project »Sinfonía por el Perú«. He is probably the most loyal »Great Voices« artist and this time will surprise with a classical repertoire.
