Dada meets pathos

Pauls Jets are a minor player in the Austrian music landscape. Their incisive songs are less about content than about the contrasts they create. The Jets draw on elements of pop and subvert them in equal measure. Their 2019 album, »All Songs So Far«, laid down a 16-track plea against some of indie pop's small-mindedness. The debut received the rare highest rating from the »Musikexpress« and immediately entered the Austrian album charts. 2020 saw the release of the second, somewhat darker longplayer »Highlights zum Einschlafen«. The Jets spent the following year in the recording studio, working collectively on new ideas for the first time as a band. They will break new ground with an announced third album, a small foretaste of which they provide with their recently released single »Jazzfest« - the best way to convince yourself of the anarchic-youthful »wave pop« of the Jets is in concert.
