Festival Gemischter Satz 2023

Presented by Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft

Opening

Not only the weather is experimental in April, but also the concert formats at the Wiener Konzerthaus. Especially our sensual festival, the »Gemischte Satz«: For the sixth time - this year on two consecutive days - Andreas Schett and his outstanding Musicbanda Franui have brought together first-class musicians and actors to create a »Gemischter Satz« of the arts. During the breaks, the WienWein wine group will serve the wine that gives the festival its name: this, in combination with the best music, literature and visual art, results in a mixture that is as harmonious as it is sensual.

The first day of the festival will be kicked off by numerous artists of different genres: soprano Anna Prohaska, voice artist Isa Wiss, accordionist Patricia Draeger, multipercussionist and »Great Talent« Vivi Vassileva, pianist Johannes Piirto, actress Dörte Lyssewski as well as the Simply Quartet and the Musicbanda Franui will lead the audience through their very special artistic vineyards in three concert sets - externally designed by the stage art of Esther Stocker.
