Neo-Romanticism
Alexandra Stréliski is a Montréal-born pianist who creates minimalist music and film scores. Billboard calls her »one of the most important new stars in modern classical music«, and the television documentary series »Noisey« describes her music as »a contrast between depth and fragility that uncannily resembles the human condition itself«. With over 300 million streams worldwide, her music has also been featured in many films and television series, such as Jean-Marc Vallée's film dramas »Dallas Buyers Club« and »Demolition« and the acclaimed HBO series »Sharp Objects« and »Big Little Lies«. With her »Néo-Romance« program, Stréliski offers a moment of tranquility, dream and fantasy inspired by the great themes of the Romantic Era: nostalgia, nature and spontaneity.
