Peter Kruder and Roberto Di Gioia's first album together began with their friendship: the two met in Munich in 2005, and it quickly became clear that a wonderful friendship was to develop. The sparks also flew during the musical sessions - Kruder, one of the masterminds of Kruder & Dorfmeister and thus formative for the sound of the nineties, and pianist Di Gioia understood each other almost wordlessly. The result was a wonderfully elegiac piano album that also evokes ambient, downtempo and minimal music.
