Beethoven expertise in a festive setting

Rudolf Buchbinder, a renowned expert on Beethoven's works, will celebrate his 77th birthday at the Vienna Konzerthaus on December 1 with Ludwig van Beethoven's First Piano Concerto. The piano concerto and Schönberg's »Verklärte Nacht« will be conducted by Alexander Soddy, who is making his debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus with this performance. After the concert - as always with the Fridays@7 format - there will be a musical finale in the Grand Foyer, where the audience can eat, drink and experience the artists up close.
