Letters to Camondo

»History is not the past, it never ends and unfolds in our hands«, writes Edmund de Waal in his »Letters to Camondo«. In his book, a piece of memoir literature, the author of »The Hare with Amber Eyes« tells the story of a Jewish family of bankers and art collectors before the rise of National Socialism. A book about the diversity of life, both private and public, and the importance of memory - for the past, the present and the future.
