Presented by Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft

With mallets and strings

»We have the century of drummers. Percussion is the oldest instrument in the world and at the same time very, very new at the moment«, says our »Great Talent« Vivi Vassileva. In April, the phenomenal multi-percussionist will once again perform with her duo partner, the Brazilian composer and guitar virtuoso Lucas Campara Diniz, at the Wiener Konzerthaus. The program includes works for percussion solo by David Lang and Maki Ishii as well as Arnold Marinissen's »Totem I + II« for marimba and works for vibraphone and guitar. In addition, Christian Jost's »Frau im Turm« will be performed for the first time at the Wiener Konzerthaus.
