Unforgettable melodies
The young Korean violinist Bomsori Kim has won prizes at the world's most important violin competitions and has since enjoyed a glittering international career - including albums on major global labels and concerts with the world's leading orchestras. She now makes her debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus alongside the Vienna Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Anja Bihlmaier, who is also making her first appearance at the Wiener Konzerthaus, with Max Bruch's ever-popular First Violin Concerto. This hit, which unfortunately condemned Bruch to an existence as a one-hit wonder, will be flanked by other grandiose works from the 19th century with catchy tune potential: the William Tell Overture by Gioachino Rossini and the symphony "From the New World" by Antonín Dvořák.
