The entertainer

Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, Paul Simon, Bette Midler, Joni Mitchell, Natalie Cole, Bob Dylan, Sting: to classify the weight class of the US-American trumpeter and composer Chris Botti, the simple enumeration of some names with whom he has worked so far is sufficient. In addition to his career as a studio and touring musician, Botti has released ten studio albums and various live records under his name since 1995. Meanwhile, moving effortlessly between jazz, pop and - as heard on his Grammy-winning album »Impressions« - even classical, he is the best-selling contemporary jazz trumpeter in the United States. Now, the smart superstar and his band are finally gracing the Vienna Konzerthaus and will be bringing the audience in the Great Hall to storms of enthusiasm with his unmistakable trumpet voice, which is as soft as it is singing.
