All good things come in fours!

With the electro duo Mynth, one always travels musically into new spheres. This also applies to the fourth album with the simple title »FOUR«. On it, the Amadeus Award-winning twins Giovanna and Mario Fartacek process their impressions of the last few years, which were marked by the pandemic. The siblings counter the temporary disorientation in the supposed everyday life with more »organic« sounds. Thus, the typical electronic Mynth sound merges with deliberately accentuated acoustic elements. »In the past, we often started with a synth surface and a drum loop on the computer. This time we captured the emotion that we playfully created ourselves on the instrument and the voice. [...] This approach has broken our previous songwriting pattern«, Giovanna Fartacek explains in the mica interview. »I wanna show you a song« is the name of the first track on the new album. And that will certainly be true when Mynth returns to the Berio Hall in May!
