Das Wiener Hofburg Orchester präsentiert beliebte Kompositionen von Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, der Familie Strauss sowie Franz Lehár und Emmerich Kálmán. In bester Tradition wird das Orchester von international renommierten Opernsängern und klassischem Ballett begleitet.
Der junge Violin-Dirigent Daniel Auner, der in diesem Konzert auch als virtuoser Solist brillieren wird, leitet das Orchester. Freuen Sie sich auf eine besondere Hommage an den legendären Wiener Violinisten Fritz Kreisler. Die charmante Melodie »Schön Rosmarin« wird von Daniel Auner auf einem einzigartigen Instrument von Giovanni Battista Guadagnini aus der wertvollen Sammlung Streichinstrumente der Österreichischen Nationalbank interpretiert.

The world-famous melodies by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and waltzes by Johann Strauss have their origins in Vienna. They belong to this beautiful city just like St. Stephen's Cathedral or the »Heuriger« and are its cultural heritage and landmark at the same time.
The Vienna Hofburg Orchestra presents popular compositions by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, the Strauss family, as well as Franz Lehár and Emmerich Kalman. In the best tradition, the orchestra is accompanied by internationally renowned opera singers and classical ballet.
The orchestra is under the direction of the young violin conductor Daniel Auner, who will also perform as a virtuoso soloist in this concert. You can look forward to a special homage to the legendary Viennese violinist Fritz Kreisler. The charming melody to »Schön Rosmarin« will be played by Daniel Auner on a unique instrument by Giovanni Battista Guadagnini from the Austrian National Bank's collection of valuable stringed instruments.
