»Après Fauré«

Grammy award-winner Brad Mehldau is one of the most lyrical and intimate voices in contemporary jazz piano. His album »Après Fauré«, released in May 2024, is a tribute to the French late Romantic composer Gabriel Fauré (1845-1924), who had a significant influence on Mehldau's writing and playing. Four of his nocturnes, among others, form the focal points of this concert, from which Mehldau explores the interplay between Fauré's influence and his own compositions. Experience the award-winning jazz pianist with piano music by Fauré and as an interpreter of his own music, which reflects on Fauré.
