Sad & sexy

Aze mixes pop, R&B, hip hop and elements of oriental music in his melancholic, erotic-tinged songs. The Viennese duo consists of Ezgi Atas and Beyza Demirkalp, who have not only been making music together for many years, but also grew up together in Upper Austria. The music of Aze is the seamless collaboration between two artists, the fusion of their own musical preferences and experiences. Aze's songs are often about hopeless love and the feeling of being self-determined, sometimes about the difficulties of growing up with a second-generation Turkish/Kurdish migration background, or simply about moments of conflict or happiness in life. Aze's debut single »At Home« and the first EP »Dead Heat« were released in 2020, followed by the first album »Hotline Aze« in 2022. Since then, they have played numerous shows and festivals throughout Europe and have even been heard on the radio worldwide with their cover of the 1980s hit »More than This«.
