Ezgi Atas and Beyza Demirkalp are Aze. The artists grew up together in Upper Austria and have been making music together for many years. In their music, they blend their own musical preferences and experiences - including pop, R&B, hip hop and elements of oriental music. Aze's melancholy songs are often about hopeless love and the feeling of being self-determined, sometimes about the difficulties of growing up with a second-generation immigrant background or simply about conflicts or moments of happiness in life. Aze's debut single »At Home« and the first EP »Dead Heat« were released in 2020, followed in 2022 by the first album »Hotline Aze«, whose songs, according to the duo, are »on the spectrum between sad and sexy«. In the meantime, Aze has toured all over Europe with numerous shows and festival appearances and their cover of the 1980s hit »More than This« has been heard on the radio worldwide.
