A mixture of hypnotic beats and melodies that inspire - Shake Stew's concerts enjoy cult status among audiences. For their latest project »Bakunawa«, they are collaborating with the French-Syrian flautist Naïssam Jalal and harpist Miriam Adefris. With her virtuoso improvisations, the flautist not only won the hearts of audiences, but also the coveted »Coup de Cœur« of the Académie Charles-Cros. Now she is making her debut at the Wiener Konzerthaus alongside Shake Stew. »The unspoken magic words are magic and energy - Shake Stew brings something cultish to contemporary jazz«, said the German Record Critics' Jury about the top ensemble.
