Polish countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński, known as »the first opera superstar to win over Generation Z« (Telegraph Luxury Magazine), has taken the world by storm. A successful model and breakdancer as well as a singer with »the voice of an angel« (The Sunday Times), Orliński is known for his unique ability to appeal to new audiences worldwide. Few other classical singers can claim to have graced the stages of the world's greatest opera houses and concert halls and the covers of Polish Vogue, Esquire and Elle, but this is testament to Orliński's unique pop star appeal. The Wiener Konzerthaus is now dedicating a three-part portrait series to this extraordinary artist, presenting him as a rediscoverer of an Italian baroque composer, an interpreter of early English song and a transcender of genre boundaries.
