Musicbanda Franui · maschek.

100 years after the publication of the first edition of Arthur Schnitzler's famous novella »Fräulein Else«, the cabaret duo Maschek and the music band Franui, known for their original synchronisations, present their remake of Paul Czinner's literary adaptation of the same name from the silent film era. The soloist in the latter work, which Brahms wrote for his friend Joseph Joachim, then from western Hungary, is Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider, who has been one of the top international violinists since his competition success at the Concours Reine Elisabeth in 1997.

His Viennese audience can look forward to a colorful tour through the romantic salons – with Nocturnes and the B minor Sonata by Frédéric Chopin –, through Debussy's impressionistic »Estampes« and Szymanowski's »Variations on a Polish Folk Theme« op. 10.
