Subcription series conditions

To ensure that all holders of a subscription series can be properly informed about possible changes, the Wiener Konzerthaus kindly requests that subscription series are only ordered in the name of the person(s) who will be making use of them.

Subscription series renewal — subscribed seats

Your subscribed seats from the current season will remain reserved for you for the coming season until 12 May 2017. If you wish to renew your subscription with the same seats, please ensure that your confirmation order is received before that date.
To ensure that the Ticket- & Service-Center is aware that you are renewing a subscription, please tick the field «renewal», even if you wish to change the price category or the seating.
For the series OR, G, CI, TR, PI, CO, M4U, YOU, VWS and NH, as well as in all optional additional concerts, special series and replacement series, your subscription and your subscribed seats cannot be carried over to the new season.

Seating requests

The price categories of your chosen seats can be seen in the corresponding seating plan, which is attached to every subscription series. Where possible, we allocate adjacent seats. We will try to allocate your requested seats, but please be aware that many seats are already occupied by subscribers from the previous year’s series. To make your choice easier, we have marked those price categories with an asterisk which are usually fully booked by long-term subscribers.

Follow-up orders

Should you at a later date place follow-up/additional orders, please indicate this under «Additional remarks» by entering «Nachbestellung» / «Follow-up order». This assists us in expediting your order.

Subscription series overlaps

By activating the field «No overlaps of concerts accepted», you can ensure that you will not receive twice the number of tickets if a concert is included in two of your subscription series. The total charged for one of the series will be reduced pro rata.

Concert date-clash

If concerts in two series should overlap on a given day, you may exchange the tickets for one of the concerts (when sales to the general public have opened for that concert) for those of another concert (ticket availability permitting). The value of your subscription tickets will be offset against the price of the exchange tickets (if of equivalent or higher price category).

Order of handling ticket sales

Subscription requests are processed in order of receipt. If no seats are still available in the category selected, seats in the next higher or lower category will be allocated. Orders received by 12 May 2017 from current subscription holders indicating their wish to renew their subscriptions will be processed before orders from new subscribers.

Data security (Cooperation subscription series)

The personal data required for the purchase, order or enquiries about tickets are not transferred to third parties. The exception here is the limited transfer of personal data in the subscription series WS, WSM, FR@7, WSF, WSB, KFW, VWS and NH, which the Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft offers in cooperation with the ensembles (cf. the notice for individual series). By purchasing a ticket for a cooperation event you consent to
a) the transmission of submitted personal data to the Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft as well as to the cooperation partner for marketing purposes for events by the Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft and the cooperation partner,
b) to receive via email information about events from the Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft and the cooperation partner.
You can revoke this declaration of consent at any time making it inadmissable for any further use of your personal data.

Youth subscriptions

Persons born after 1 July 1991 may apply for Youth membership of the Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft. A set contingent of tickets are reserved for Youth Members in most subscription series (exceptions are series MJ, GRT, CI, TR, PI, CO, M4U, VWS and NH) at a price of €12 per ticket.
(In these subscription series there are specially reduced prices for children and other persons born after 1 July 1991. Youth membership is not a prerequisite for these series.)
Only one subscription series is allocated per Youth member, and the tickets are not transferable. If a ticket is passed on to another person, the difference between the discounted price and the full price must be paid. Since youth subscriptions are processed after other subscriptions and tickets are issued according to seating availability, the allocation of adjacent seats cannot be guaranteed, even if regular subscriptions are ordered simultaneously.
Youth subscriptions can only be collected in person before 6 September 2017 from the Ticket- & Service-Center, upon the presentation of the postal confirmation of order received from the Konzerthaus and a valid photo-ID. Later collection is accepted provided that the subscription payment has been received by 6 September 2017. When attending a concert, Youth members require to show their membership card and photo-ID.

Wheelchair places

In all subscription series, a number of places have been allocated for use by handicapped persons dependent on their wheelchairs. These seats are easily accessible with a wheelchair, and the special price includes a seat for an escort or companion. There is a reduced subscription price if no seat for an escort is required: please indicate whether a place for an accompanying person is or is not required by marking the appropriate box.

Subscription orders

are binding. No return of tickets and refund of purchase price once ordered or purchased is possible. However, for concerts that are sold out, returned tickets are accepted by the Ticket- & Service-Center for sale on commission of 10%.

Programme changes and cancellations

The Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft reserves the right to make changes to dates, times, programmes and performers. Such changes do not entitle subscription cycle holders to cancel their subscription. Changes of which the Wiener Konzerthaus has adequate notice are communicated to subscribers by mail and in the monthly news-sheet «Konzerthaus Nachrichten». In addition, the information on konzerthaus.at is updated daily. Should a complete subscription concert be cancelled, a substitute concert will be offered.
