Jordi Savall: Beethovens Symphonien
4 Konzerte im Großen Saal
Saalplan mit 8 Kategorien (Großer Saal)
Jordi Savall, grand master of historical performance practice and a favourite with audiences around the world in general and at the Wiener Konzerthaus in particular, has discovered an infinite amount of music from the most diverse times and places in his life as a gambist and as director of his ensembles Hespèrion XXI, Le Concert des Nations and La Capella Reial de Catalunya - works from the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and the Baroque as well as music by Sephardic Jews or from the Arab cultural area. In recent years, Savall has also ventured more and more into the classical and early romantic periods - most recently with breathtaking performances of Beethoven's symphonies and a corresponding complete recording. This undertaking can now be experienced live and in colour on two evenings in February and two evenings in June.
