This time Philipp Blom explores the secret of interpretation with a repertoire that goes beyond the realm of classical chamber music: our pianistic »Great Talent« Anton Gerzenberg dedicates himself not to a chamber music work but to the first great piano work by Helmut Lachenmann, the »Serynade« written for his wife Yukiko Sugawara. Eckart Runge, familiar to Konzerthaus audiences as the long-time cellist of the Artemis Quartet, and his duo partner Jacques Ammon will interpret, among other things, arrangements of rock, pop and jazz numbers that have made musical history. Of course, classical music will not be neglected: Mozart's only string trio will provide excellent conversation material for portrait artist Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, his chamber music partners and Philipp Blom.
