Superstars and debuts characterise the »Jazz« cycle. It opens with a debut in a class of its own: Melody Gardot, one of today's most successful singer-songwriters, will give an exclusive Austrian guest performance at the Wiener Konzerthaus with her new programme. Other Konzerthaus debuts include the guest appearance of Gerald Clayton and his fellow musicians Joel Ross, Markus Hill, Logan Richardson, Joe Sanders and drummer Kendrick Scott, who was already a guest here in 2008 in two sold-out concerts alongside Herbie Hancock. There will be a reunion with Dianne Reeves, Wynton Marsalis, the superstars Joshua Redman, Brad Mehldau, Christian McBride and Brian Blade. We would like to draw your special attention to an Austrian contribution to top-class jazz, Shake Stew.
