A musical ride across the globe and back: the »Jazz unplugged« cycle offers nothing less. Breathtaking sound bridges between two continents are spanned by the French accordion virtuoso Vincent Peirani and the Brazilian top guitarist Yamandu Costa. The saxophonist Miguel Zenón and his long-time companion on the piano, Luis Perdomo, will present a great moment of US and Latin American jazz. Pianist Shai Maestro, who will be performing for the first time with his own quartet at the Wiener Konzerthaus, swings between the New York jazz scene and his native Israel. Camille Bertault is another rising star of international jazz. The cycle is rounded off with the debut of Wolfgang Muthspiel's Chamber Trio, featuring Mario Rom and Colin Vallon.
