Mendelssohn's Third, Brahms' Fourth and Tchaikovsky's Fifth are pieces of music that may not have figurative titles, but they inspire the imagination and fantasy of children and young people just as much as de Falla's colourful »Nights in Spanish Gardens« or Debussy's symphonic sea sketches. Opening young people's senses to musical works in a creative and age-appropriate way - that's what the »Vorhören!« cycle does. The accompanying adults experience the first concert part – expertly introduced by the charming Barbara Rett. Afterwards, everyone enjoys the second part of the concert together, after the children and young people have intensively studied the work and the composer.
During the first part of the concert, children and young people can expect a creative exploration of the compositions that will be on the program in the second part.
In the case of workshops for the age group of children from 8 to 12 years, which will be held in two groups (Group A and Group B), you will be informed about the respective group assignment by mailing before the event.
