The musicians in this cycle show that their own musical tradition is the most beautiful breeding ground for world music crossover: the AltBadSeer Musi, the clarinetists from Faltenradio, the multi-stringed Härtel Quintett and the seven-piece Postwirtmusi provide traditional music, dance floor music and lively folk music arrangements. The musical heritage of their homeland - Scandinavian folk music - is reinterpreted by Dreamers' Circus. True vocal wonders are performed by the trio Marala, which draws inspiration for its songs from Catalan folk music, and the Burgenland-Croatian quartet BasBariTenori, with whom Willi Resetarits once performed. The world will also be explored when the Argentinian Paula Barembuem explores the sound worlds of Latin America and Europe with Christian Bakanic's Trio Infernal, the Ud virtuoso Marwan Abado oscillates between Orient and Occident, and the singer-songwriter Gabriele Muscolino from Bolzano pays homage to the art of the cantautori with Ernst Molden.
