The cycle »Concertino« presents children the diversity of instruments
across styles and eras. The Oorkaan Ensemble enchants with classical
music and music from around the world. Ensemble infiammabile uses
historical instruments to set the tone, and Louie's Cage Percussion
provides stirring drum rhythms. With the community project
»KlangBildKlang«, the Webern Symphony Orchestra is a guest at
»Concertino« for the first time. Under the direction of Andrés
Orozco-Estrada, Mussorgsky's »Pictures at an Exhibition« as well as
audio-visual compositions by students of the mdw and the FH St. Pölten
will be performed.
