Our chamber music series presents itself profoundly and with a floating lightness. »Jazz unplugged« features sophisticated jazz formations, such as the trio of world-class guitarist Wolfgang Muthspiel and that of Julian Lage, which, according to the Süddeutsche Zeitung, »condenses American music history into the minimalism of a jazz trio«. They will be joined by two duos: Gonzalo Rubalcaba, one of the leading musicians of Afro-Cuban jazz, will travel with singer Aymée Nuviola, also from Cuba. Michael League, multi-instrumentalist and founder of Snarky Puppy, embarks on an impressionistic journey to a wishing place with Bill Laurance: »Where you wish you were«. Big world of jazz in a small space!
