Familiar stars and up-and-coming talents! Grammy Award winner Gerald Finley presents, among other things - as a premiere at the Vienna Konzerthaus - a selection from the vocal cycle »Silent Songs« by Ukrainian composer Valentin Silvestrov. Michael Schade and Justus Zeyen, after the great success of their joint evening with Karl Markovics in September 2021, will create a finely tuned musical-literary program together with Birgit Minichmayr, focusing on strong women. One such is our portrait artist Fatma Said, who makes her cycle debut with songs by Mozart, Schubert and Mahler, before audience favorite Florian Boesch interprets Schumann's Liederkreis op. 39 for the first time at the Wiener Konzerthaus. Other debuts in the cycle will be made by the multi-award-winning British soprano Louise Alder with Mahler's »Rückert Lieder« as well as French and American repertoire, and Konstantin Krimmel, one of the most exciting young lieder singers devoted to German art song.
