Conceptual programs in this cycle depict the boundless diversity of musical thought and design. Whether in the debuts of the philharmonic chamber music ensemble Plattform K+K Vienna and the Egyptian soprano Fatma Said, or the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra in partnership with the South African artist William Kentridge (he staged »Wozzeck« at the Salzburg Festival in 2017, among others) - it is always the broad horizon that asserts itself here under changing mottos. Worlds lie between the musicianly exuberance of the Janoska Ensemble and the intellectual eclecticism of the legendary Kronos Quartet. Worlds that are worth discovering!
