Meisterstimmen

3 Konzerte im Großen Saal

Saalplan mit 8 Kategorien (Großer Saal)

The »Meisterstimmen« cycle offers exquisite vocal art at the Wiener Konzerthaus: three concerts give all friends of singing the opportunity to experience stars of the opera and concert world. The Latvian mezzo-soprano Elīna Garanča offers a »best of« her repertoire and lets arias by Giuseppe Verdi and Georges Bizet shine. Great vocal artists of the younger generation are Fatma Said and Jakub Józef Orliński: with Il Giardino d'Amore they dedicate themselves to one of the most famous baroque compositions, Pergolesi's »Stabat mater«. Tenor Piotr Beczała takes an excursion into the art of song with Helmut Deutsch: they unearth treasures of German, Russian and Norwegian Romanticism.
