George Enescu's Piano Quintet in D major, which will be performed for the first time at the Wiener Konzerthaus, opens an evening full of "Tales from Romania". With "Passion & Fire", the musicians interpret Dmitri Shostakovich's popular piano quintet. Cool jazz vibes also find their place when the ensemble led by Tibor Kováč dedicates itself to the music of Russian jazz pioneer Nikolai Kapustin.
