From dramatic and sombre to soulful and tender: the »Singer-Songwriter« cycle leaves little to be desired. KOVACS, the Dutch singer with the raspy voice, has made her way through the music business without compromise. The music of multi-instrumentalist Alicia Edelweiss is imaginative and no less original. Irish singer-songwriter Conor J. O'Brien and his VILLAGERS project will be performing at the Wiener Konzerthaus for the first time: elegiac sounds have their place in his arrangements. Big emotions are the keyword for Vienna-based singer Anja Om, who perfectly combines pop songs and piano ballads. »Sometimes the singer sounds like a new Björk«, praised one specialist magazine. She can be experienced with the Schmusechor, an indispensable part of the Viennese pop scene: This is where pop meets performance, haute couture and passion.
