Experience traditional musical styles as a starting point for world music crossover! To kick things off - in the Great Hall! - There's every reason to celebrate, because Federspiel has been innovating the wind band scene for twenty years. Familiar musicians will also be making guest appearances in new constellations: Diknu Schneeberger and the Bakanic Quartet will play gypsy swing with Balkan sounds, the harmonica virtuosos from Sväng will turn their attention to Finnish tango, and Manuel Randi and his trio will get you dancing just as much as the Citoller Tanzgeiger. After a reunion with the border crossers from Alma, Swedish folk fills the Mozart Hall with the debut of the Lena Jonsson Trio. And »zwa wean ans« is the motto for the finale with the Neue Wiener Concert Schrammeln and Hans Theessink.
