The Quatuor Mosaïques is characterized by a love of the core repertoire of the string quartet, a wealth of experience and harmonious interplay. Erich Höbarth, Andrea Bischof, Anita Mitterer and Christophe Coin got to know each other more than 35 years ago; the idea of playing quartet literature in a historically informed way forms the basis for their ensemble playing, which is characterized by great continuity. But the Quatuor Mosaïques not only loves the core repertoire - such as Mozart's String Quartet K 417b, Schubert's Great String Quartet D 887 or Beethoven's late String Quartet op. 132 - it also lets rarities by cellist Friedrich Dotzauer and Mozart's friend Joseph Johann Baptist Woelfl shine in bright light.
