Cinello is an inter-active, non-verbal concert format for children aged between 1 and 3, and the accompanying adults. Every season, four editions are produced, each with a different instrumentalist. All of these concerts are conceived independently, with the sound world of each instrument and the personality of the performing musician providing the basis for the storyline. In cooperation with the instrumentalists and a stage director, the dancer and choreographer of the Cinello-character develops a suitable concept for each performance. The “Cinello”-series offers a creative atmosphere in combination with direct access to a colourful and imaginative stage-setting, encouraging the young audience to take their first steps into the world of music, sounds, singing, movement and dance.
