«Calm sea and prosperous voyage»

Only a few weeks after the Pygmalion Ensemble made «Bach pur» its mission, Philippe Herreweghe will turn his full attention on Beethoven from the point of view of historically informed performance practice: Don’t miss the chance to hear Beethoven’s lesser known works such as his brilliant C-Minor Fantasy op. 80 – with Kristian Bezuidenhout on piano – or the cantata «Calm sea and prosperous voyage» op. 112 in full «HIP» sound, performed by the Orchestre des Champs-Élysées and the Collegium Vocale Gent.
