Presented by Wiener Konzerthausgesellschaft

»Calm sea and prosperous voyage«

Only a few weeks after the Pygmalion Ensemble made »Bach pur« its mission, Philippe Herreweghe will turn his full attention on Beethoven from the point of view of historically informed performance practice: Don’t miss the chance to hear Beethoven’s lesser known works such as his brilliant C-Minor Fantasy op. 80 – with Kristian Bezuidenhout on piano – or the cantata »Calm sea and prosperous voyage« op. 112 in full »HIP« sound, performed by the Orchestre des Champs-Élysées and the Collegium Vocale Gent.
