»Ode to Joy«
In 1770, 250 years ago, Ludwig van Beethoven was born – a
jubilee celebrated worldwide. At the Wiener Konzerthaus,
we mark the turn of the year with a performance of his 9th
Symphony, including the famous setting of Schiller’s »Ode
to Joy«. The Vienna Symphony Orchestra will perform the
masterpiece by the Composer of the Year 2020, conducted
by Gianandrea Noseda.
