Resonanzen »In Feierlaune«
»Il Paradiso« is likely to become a popular destination for the »Resonanzen« in 2022 as well: The compass to heavenly as well as earthly pleasures is »northed« by the Sollazzo Ensemble, which dedicates itself to the Trecento at the upcoming guest performance. It follows the trail of Dante's path to paradise, which he had laid in his »Divina Commedia«. Musician-composers from his Florentine homeland, such as Francesco degli Organi and Lorenzo da Firenze, were just as artful in taking up Dante's quest for happiness in their compositions and searching for their own »locus amoenus«: starry nights in the arms of the beloved were sung about, as were martial triumphs. And in many a work, the birds' songs in the Florentine garden »Il Paradiso« are said to have fallen silent...
