»Sweet Gamba, Let's Hear You«

Teodoro Baù is undoubtedly the best gamba player of his generation. Born in 1992, the Italian recently had good reason to celebrate himself: with his victory at the renowned MA Competition 2021 in Bruges, he »showed the music-loving world where God lives«. One has seldom heard this instrument play with such filigree, such delicacy, such floating, and then again with such power and power. Teodoro Baù is probably known to the »Resonanzen«-community from his performances in the association of Michele Pasotti's La fonte musica – now he gives his first recital here. At his side: master harpsichordist Andrea Buccarella, confidant of Andrea Marcon at the Venice Baroque Orchestra and MA winner of the year 2018.
